Translate the word Tatlisu and you have ‘Sweet Water’.  Tatlisu village is set in the mountains. Tatlisu boasts some of the nicest beaches in North Cyprus. Without a doubt Tatlisu is a beautiful part of this rugged coastal area.
 

Tatlisu is still untouched and stunningly beautiful, framed by the dramatic mountain range and overlooking the coastline of natural beaches and coves, making you want to walk and explore.
 

Steeped in history, Tatlisu is a site of important Neolithic archaeology.  Tatlisu beaches have yielded treasures such as flint daggers and remains of ancient columns.

Located just 20 minutes east of Girne – Kyrenia town and only 30 minutes from Ercan making this an area worth visiting. Tatlisu renowned for its beautiful beaches, the scenery of the cliffs, and its magnificent views of the Northern Cyprus Mountains all add up to an area of Cyprus that will take your breath away.  From here it is possible to see in the distance the east coast back to Girne and the great long stretch of the Karpaz peninsula.
